About the author
Elaine Lemm is a former chef and cookery school owner and for over 20 years a freelance food and recipe writer.
As well as seven years as Food and Wine Editor at Yorkshire Life magazine, Elaine has written for many leading magazines including Waitrose Food Illustrated, National Geographic Food, Olive and BBC Good Food magazines and has an enviable job as restaurant critic for the Yorkshire Post.
For 14 years Elaine wrote and developed recipes for the New York Times Company, later called Spruce Eats, which is one of the leading food sites in the world. Elaine is also the author of three food books including the acclaimed Great Book of Yorkshire Pudding which sells worldwide and is in its third Edition.
She works remotely from her home in North Yorkshire, where she lives with her husband and occasionally has a house full of kids and family to feed, which she loves. For downtime, Elaine enjoys yoga, is a keen sculptor and when she has time, loves nothing more than pottering about in the garden and long walks in the glorious Yorkshire landscape.
