Product Description
The Official Yearbook of The Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
The summer of 2022 started so well with an opening round County Championship win at Gloucestershire but ended in the ultimate disappointment of relegation following a home defeat against the same opponents. There was still plenty of success to reflect upon throughout the club, however, most notably the Northern Diamonds winning their first ever regional title, the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, and the men’s second team winning their Championship title under new coach Tom Smith’s guidance. Harry Brook and Matthew Fisher made their senior England debuts, while Jonny Bairstow, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid and Joe Root also contributed to an exhilarating year of international cricket. Departing the club is chair Lord Patel, while Stephen Vaughan has taken over as chief executive alongside new club captain Shan Masood.
