About the author

Joe Moorwood, a Sheffield-based Firefighter, author and father of two, had his first book published with the support of Blackadder and QI producer John Lloyd. His first two books for Great Northern, The Yorkshire Meaning of Liff and Yorkshire Wisdom have sold over 10,000 copies. Now, with the help of Anna, his sister, he has realised his ambition to create a timeless children’s picture book for all generations.

Anna Stephenson, professional artist, qualified teacher, and mother of three, creates vibrant and unique lino print collages from her home studio in Sheffield. Her eye catching illustrations bring characters and situations to life, creating a sense of everyday relatable magic. The images are created with bold patterns and detailed texture.
